Information We Collect

• Account information: When event organizers sign up, we collect name, email, and authentication details via our identity provider (Clerk).
• Event and registration data: Names, email addresses, and other details attendees provide when registering for or purchasing tickets to an event.
• Payment information: Payments are processed by Stripe and/or Zeffy. We do not store full credit card numbers on our servers — payment providers handle and store that data under their own security standards.
• Uploaded content: Event logos, images, and other media uploaded by organizers, stored via Cloudinary.
• Push notification data: If you opt into notifications in the attendee app, we store a device push subscription token to deliver event updates. You can disable this at any time in the app.
• Usage data: Basic technical data (device type, browser, general usage patterns) to operate and improve the platform.

How We Use Information

We use collected information to operate event websites and the attendee app, process ticket purchases, send event-related communications (confirmations, reminders, updates), and improve our services.

Third-Party Services

We rely on the following third-party providers, each with their own privacy practices: Clerk (authentication), Stripe and Zeffy (payment processing), Supabase (database hosting), Cloudinary (media hosting), and email delivery providers for transactional email.

Data Sharing

We do not sell personal information. We share data with the third-party providers above only as needed to operate the platform, and with event organizers for the events attendees register for.

Data Retention

We retain data for as long as needed to provide our services and comply with legal obligations. Organizers can request deletion of their event data by contacting us.

Your Choices

• You can opt out of push notifications at any time within the attendee app.

Children's Privacy

Confexo is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect data, but no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Continued use of Confexo after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
